50 Years O Lallans Poetry
Fri 25th of Nov at 7pm. Celebrate the 50th anniversary publication of “Sangs
That Sing Sae Sweit - 50 Years o Lallans Poetry” an anthology including
some of the best poetry in Scots to be published in Lallans-the magazine
of the Scots Language Society-founded in 1972. The anthology will include
poetry from Hugh MacDiarmid up to the present generation of young Scots
screivers. A stellar Scots line-up includes Professor Derrick McClure, Dr.
Elaine Morton, William Hershaw, David Bleiman, Ellen Pennie and George
Watt.
